Vacancy: Catering Assistant (Seasonal)

Working within a busy and vibrant café setting, the Catering Assistant plays a key role in creating a memorable food experience for our visitors.
With a love of working with people and desire to provide excellent service, the Catering Assistant shares expert knowledge of our menu and suppliers, processes sales, ensures cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the Courtyard area and cashing up at the end of each shift.
This role will also involve some kitchen duties such as dish washing and basic food preparation. This role will also involve some basic housekeeping duties including dusting, hoovering, mopping and cleaning of visitor areas as required.
It is essential that the Catering Assistant is a team player who can also work on their own initiative. A passion and enthusiasm for food are required. Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of food hygiene is desirable.
The role is paid hourly and is fixed term April - October. Weekend and bank holiday work is part of the role.
We're looking for four people, £12.60 per hour, variable hours, starting at the beginning of April.
