Accessibility
At Mount Stuart we want every visitor to enjoy an incredible experience. If you have a mobility, visual or hearing impairment, we are here to help.
Site Accessibility
Parking for Blue Badge holders is available at the main house, please follow the signage.
A public service bus (operated by West Coast Motors) drops visitors off outside Mount Stuart House, and collects from this area also. If you require assistance please contact the team in advance of your visit e: contactus@mountstuart.com.
The paths in our gardens are a mixture of gravel, whin dust and grass. Please be aware that many of the paths towards the shore line are steep and may be unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
Tickets & Information
We encourage all visitors to purchase tickets in advance online where possible. Visitors who have purchased online tickets for the house are able to go straight to the main house entrance (during opening hours). A member of staff will scan the booking QR code to redeem your tickets.
When purchasing tickets on site, please be aware that signage for tickets and information directs all visitors to the Round-house which is situated on a steep slope. Visitors with limited mobility and Blue Badge holders are welcome to purchase tickets from the shop which is situated on the gravel forecourt next to the house entrance.

Mount Stuart has a working lift which can fit a standard sized wheelchair for access to the upper floors. For conservation reasons we request that visitors use the wheelchairs we have available on site. Motorised wheelchairs/scooters are not permitted within the House.
Lightweight, portable seating is available for visitors to use throughout the house. Please speak to one of our guides if you require assistance.
For visitors with hearing impairments, limited written interpretation is available.
