The 3rd Marquess of Bute expressed his many passions in the design of Mount Stuart House, including astronomy, astrology, mythology, and religion. Join Island Astrologer and Mount Stuart Guide DL Gordon, for an introduction to Apollo the sun God and his nine Muses, as depicted in the stunning Lonsdale designed stained glass windows of the Drawing Room.

Biography - DL Gordon
DL was introduced to Astrology more than twenty-five years ago by a work colleague. She was sceptical to begin with, coming from a science background and working as a health professional, but the accuracy of her first major reading blew her away.
After years of self-study, she finally took the plunge to study formally for three years at the Centre for Psychological Astrology and the Mercury Internet School of Psychological Astrology, gaining her diploma in 2022.
DL has been published in the Astrological Journal and has made appearances on Talk Radio: The Trisha Goddard Show and The Kevin O’Sullivan Show.
DL’s Astrology practice, The Island Astrologer, is based on Bute and she is current Chair of Aquarius Rising: the Glasgow Astrology Tribe. She can be contacted by email: dl@theislandastrologer.com
